Looky, looky at the new “Boucheron Brides” engagement and wedding ring collection campaign from, well- Boucheron. It’s funny how tastes evolve as you get older. When I first got engaged 10 years ago, I would have fallen all over the “Divine Rita”- a ring that’s classically elegant, but also fairly contemporary at the same time. It makes me think of Audrey Hepburn…if Audrey Hepburn was a ring. But now, say if someone were to surprise me with a little 10th Anniversary trinket (ahem!), I would automatically go for the “Quatre”- it’s unique, sophisticated and almost handsomely feminine (is that possible?). If the Divine Rita is Audrey, then the Quatre is definitely Isabella Rossellini.
