If you happened to be out and about on the Right Bank of Paris yesterday and saw a gaggle of dapper Brits whizzing by in a fleet of antique cars, I hope you stopped to take a gander inside of Car Number One. If you had, you would have seen Gorgeous George and Swanky Antony who had just been married in the square next to Notre Dame Cathedral. They were joined by a couple dozen of their nearest and dearest who came over for a wild week-end in Saint Germain, the highlight of which was G and A’s nuptials.
After spending the last week clicking between weather.com, accuweather.com and weatheronline.com, (and getting different forecasts at each click!) I finally resolved myself to the fact that Saturday was going to be perfect for my couple from the UK. And it was! A little overcast, but no moisture (except for that which was pouring out of Antony’s brow!) George looked absolutely stunning in her Ian Stuart gown- her Calla Lily and Passion Flower bouquet perfectly complimented the detailing on the bodice of her dress. Stunning!
After the simple, sweet ceremony, the gang climbed into the fleet of cars, kicked back and sipped on cold Veuve Clicquot while they were driven on a tour around Paris. Last stop- the terrace of Le Saut du Loup, the trendy new restaurant at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, where George & Cie. dined on a four-course meal (followed by a traditional French wedding cake, of course) with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower and the Jardin de Tuilleries.
George and Antony are one of the the sweetest, funniest, coolest couples that I have had the good fortune to work with (what other bride-to-be would give her future hubby pin-up girl cuff links to wear on their wedding day??) I wish them all the happiness in the world, and a safe trip back home to the gang!
p.s.: and if you ever happen to be in Bromyard, Herefordshire, England, stop into George and Antony’s pub, The Rose and Lion, and give them a big ole Bisous from Kim in Paris!!

beautiful! I love the simple elegance!
Wow, that IS a beautiful gown! I can’t even imagine where you found a fleet of VW Bugs. Thanks for sharing some of their photos
