Jenn and Dave decided to get married in Paris after their Bay Area wedding plans started to spin out of control. They wanted an intimate and chic celebration- something formal, but also really fun for the family and friends that made the trip with them from the U.S. After their ceremony and lunch reception in a 17th century Parisian mansion, the couple took off (with a couple of her bridesmaids in tow) for a photo session around town. Here are a couple of my favorite souvenirs of the day:

One year, two continents and three ceremonies later, Michelle and Guy’s nuptials finally ended with a real-life storybook wedding in Paris last Saturday. Held in the Bois de Boulogne, I gotta tell you- this wedding is why I do what I do. From Michelle’s stunning Monique Lhuillier gown to the breathtaking outdoor ceremony overlooking the Jardin de Bagatelle, to the sexy-sexy First Dance (”Whatta Man” by Salt-n-Pepa), this wedding was perfection from beginning to end. With guests from the U.S., China, Cameroon, the UK and France, it took a bit of work to get everyone here, but I can promise you this: for those that were able to make it, it was allll worth it. Congratulations (again and again!) you two. Miss ya already

I wanted to post a few photos taken by a French wedding photographer a couple of months ago. The couple were able to hire a second photographer to shoot the groom and his groomsmen getting ready before they headed over to the château. So much of a wedding is about the bride- including the preparation photos. Who hasn’t seen the “hanging, back-lit wedding dress” shot, or the “fabulous, blinged-out Manolo’s” shot, or the “bride being helped into her dress” shot? But how often do you see the groom and his boyz getting all gussied up before their trip down the aisle? Here are a couple of images that celebrate the boys we love, and to remind us that without them, there wouldn’t even be a wedding !
