Last year, when I first heard about Sex and the City Le Film, I SWORE that I would be first in line when it opened here in Paris- V.O. or no V.O.! As luck would have it, my hubby had to work late on Wednesday, AND I couldn’t be bothered forking out the 50€ for a babysitter, so I stayed home and watched Nouvelle Stars instead (go Benjamin!). So, obviously being the antithesis of all that Carrie and the girls stand for (yet woman enough to admit it 
) I’m just going to resign myself to the fact that I probably won’t see this movie until it comes out on DVD. And I am ok with that. I just need to know one thing : DO CARRIE AND BIG GET MARRIED???

Kimberley! I can’t wait to see the movie too! Tonight is opening night here and I can’t go plus I have to work all weekend! I plan to go see the matinee on Monday. So excited!

They plan the wedding, she shows up, and he essentially jilts her at the altar because of anxiety, uncertainty, nerves, brewing suspicion about the relationship, etc. Those photos (with the big Vivenne Westwood gown and blue bird in the hair) are from that scenario. The majority of the movie deals with her recovering from that dumping travesty, then they eventually just tie the knot at a simple city hall gathering with their closest friends.
