Welcome to part deux of the parisian party trivia contest! You’re competing for one of two of these hip-n-trendy, Black and Bling Parisian Party-Girl ornaments- the perfect Parisian touch to this years’ Christmas tree, n’est-ce pas? On Friday, I posted a first set of 8 trivia questions based on General Parisian Romance and Getting Married in Paris. The answers to the questions can be found in past parisian party blog posts. I’ve listed the month and year of the post with the correct answer after each question to help you out.
The monthly archives of all posts are listed on the lower right-hand side of the toolbar on this blog (with the number of posts in each month listed in parentheses). The contest will end tomorrow, December 14th, at 11:00 AM Paris time. The first two people to post a comment with all 8 questions answered correctly before Monday at 11:00 AM, will win. Ready? Here is the second set of questions:
1) What was the name of Louis XIV’s “love shack” in St Germain en Laye, which he would use for hunting as well as entertaining his mistresses? May, 2008
2) When shopping for your bridal trousseau in Paris, where might you find some black satin and lace handcuffs (if you were so inclined…)? August, 2007
3) If you were looking for an outfit to wear to a wedding in France, what’s the French name given by many French magazines and online shops to the department devoted to clothes and accessories for wedding guests? April 2009
4) For couples who are thinking of a Parisian elopement, what beautiful location with a panoramic view over Paris do I suggest as a good location for an intimate ceremony (hint: it’s NOT the Eiffel Tower)? July 2008
Et voilà! How’d you do? Well, you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out. Be sure to answer all 8 questions in the comment section before 11:00 AM Paris time tomorrow, and Thanks for playing!
