a cubist parisian wedding theme

I hadn’t planned on doing another French wedding theme so soon, but this one practically jumped into my lap! It’s a cubism themed wedding, based on Nude in an Armchair by Pablo Picasso. The Dress: Wait for it…..wait for it…..ka-BAM! Doesn’t this Samourai 1947 dress by Galliano for Christian Dior look just like the Picasso painting come to life?? It’s just SO over the top! Ring: Ultra White ceramic and diamond ring, Chanel. The Flowers: How about this modern centerpiece by 360° in the 8th arrondissement? Venue: Nothing could compete with the dress, so I’m suggesting a minimalist space with a lot of character, like BlancLoft, a stark artists loft with great lines in the 14th arrondissement. Le Gateau?: Try a pièce montée of macaron from Fauchon. Honeymoon Hotel: Kube in the 18th arrondissement, of course (with late-night drinks at their “cool” ice bar, Ice Kube. Origami wedding favors by paper bird design, Lucite “Ghost” chair by Philippe Starck
