There’s a game of blogger tag going around. I’ve just been tagged by Liene at Blue Orchid Designs! Here are the rules:

Players list 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, players then tags 8 people by posting their names and makes sure they know they have been tagged by leaving a comment at the tagee’s blog.

Here goes!

1. I like Klezmer music. I don’t know why or where it comes from, but it cracks me up and makes me want to dance like Ed Grimley whenever I hear it. I am SO sophisticated!
2. I can’t swim and have absolutely no intention of ever learning.
3. I collect vintage lunchboxes and Jade-Ite dinnerware (I began my collection long before a certain home-styling icon started reproducing it and sent the prices skyhigh!)
4. I have a certifiable (if there is such a thing) phobia of cats. It’s not that I hate them, I am TERRIFIED of them. Go figure.
5. There are certain places, or smells or tastes that are SO perfect to me, that I literally almost pass out. I start to feel dizzy and giddy and almost embarrassingly euphoric when I see/visit/taste them- Like when I walk into Le Bon Marché, or eat a fudge brownie sundae (a good one!), or visit the Art Nouveau decorative arts galleries in the Musee D’Orsay. (Does that happen to other people too? Maybe that’s not a weird one…)
6. I really don’t like vegetables. I just don’t like the taste of them!
7. My absolute dream car is a citroen DS. I think that they epitomize everything that a car should be, and that I would finally be complete if only I had one in my driveway. Probably.
8. I like T.V. And that doesn’t make me a churl, it just means that I’ve got kids and I run a business and I totally embrace mind-numbing eye-candy every now and then…(even when it’s more now than then!)
