I’ve been sharing my knowledge about planning weddings and parties in Paris, kooky French wedding traditions and all-round romantic Parisian tid-bits for nearly 3 years, and now it’s time to see who’s been paying attention!  I’ve created a little trivia game based on past parisian party posts.  There will be 8 questions in total, 4 posted today, and the second set this coming Sunday. After each question, I’ve listed the month and the year in which the post with the correct answer was published.  It’s up to you to skim the archives to find the correct answer- and learn a bit about Romantic Paris along the way!

The monthly archives of all posts are listed on the lower right-hand side of the toolbar on this blog (with the number of posts in each month listed in parentheses).  The contest will end on Monday, December 14th, at 11:00 AM Paris time. The first two people to post a comment with all 8 questions answered correctly before Monday at 11:00, will win this “Black and Bling” Parisian Party-girl ornament, courteous of the ORIGINAL Black and Bling parisian party girl herself, moi! Oh, one important technical announcement: The scroll bar to view past posts is actually above the “monthly archive” title on this blog.

4) What romantic, tree-lined waterway in the 10th arrondissement was built by Napoleon III to transport materials from quarries in the north to the Seine? (Hint: It’s one of my personal favorite “date night” locales, and is one of my Top 5 most Romantic places to propose in Paris)  December, 2007

Be sure to check back on Sunday for part deux of the parisian party trivia contest, and feel free to leave a comment beforehand if you need any extra hints!
