If you have plans to be in Paris some time within the next few weeks, I hope you’ll have the chance to see “Les Années Grace Kelly - Princesse de Monaco”, the current exhibit at the Hotel de Ville (City Hall of Paris). This free exhibit follows Grace Kelly from Hollywood starlet to the Princess of Monaco through the work of some of the world’s most acclaimed photographers like Cecil Beaton and Irving Penn. In addition to photos, the show includes personal belongings such as correspondence with friends and international personalities like Jacqueline Kennedy and Alfred Hitchcock, jewelry and gowns from her wardrobe and, of course, the Hermès bag which bears her name. 25 years after her death, Grace Kelly remains one of the most treasured style icons of all time. For lover’s of modern history, style or fashion- this show is not to be missed.
