I just spent the last hour completely lost in my new favorite French decoration blog, Esprit Champêtre. So many of the ideas can be used as inspirations for a French wedding. The materials are so simple: a clear glass dish of madelines on an embroidered linen napkin, an apothecary jar filled with white fairy lights– yet so beautifully composed, it makes you want to run out to the flea market– even in the middle of the night! Here are a few of my favorite images:
(A simple message at the guestbook table sets the tone…(albeit a Spanish tone in this photo-
but you get the gist!)
(Wouldn’t this make a gorgeous centerpiece? The table number or menu could go under the cloche…)
(Oo- instead of the cute but kinda tired Candy Bar, how about a SACHET BAR?? Dried flowers,
linen bags, ribbons, etc. Hmmm….)
(Mercury glass ornament and a “Bienvenue” sachet at each place setting– perfect, right??)
(For the menu, or maybe even to decorate the guestbook or parting gift table…)
