My husband and I both share a love of the Art Nouveau design movement. Every couple of years we try to take a vacation based around a specific city known for its’ contribution to Art Nouveau. So far, we’ve been on A.N. hunts in Barcelona, Prague, Budapest, Brussels and, well- Paris, of course. I’ve got Vienna in my cross-hairs for next year, but in the meantime I have to be satisfied with trawling the internet looking for little bursts of Art Nouveau goodness. This morning I found this wedding stationery suite on the blog of Jeremy & Kathleen and got so giddy I nearly passed out. The lines, the colors, the type- everything about these invitations is so… so…PERFECT in every way. Now, I know that Art Nouveau isn’t for everyone, but for a stylish Paris- or French-themed wedding that is different from the whimsical pink, black and white “Parisian” theme, how could you do better than this?

Hey Kim, what a great stationery design. I love Art Nouveau as well - didn’t know you had a passion for it too - how interesting! I totally envy you for these trips, Barcelona is a kaleidoscope of inspiration. Have to plan a trip back there some time too! Did you see the jewelry exhibition in the fashion museum next to the Louvre? The jewelry art by Lalique is totally mesmerizing - photos don’t do the pieces justice.
Bonjour!
I just found your website and blog - what wonderful work you do! I love Paris too! If I ever need an event in Paris, I know that I’ll call on you!
Oh wow, these are gorgeous! Looks like a fab texture too!
