a midnight honeymoon in paris photo session

Take a look at these photos from a Honeymoon in Paris photo session posted by Rowell Photography on their blog today. Their clients, Tara and Ryan, wanted to have pix taken in front of different Parisian monuments, but didn’t want to have tons of tourists in every shot. Destination photographers Erika and Ryan’s crafty solution was to take the newlyweds on a midnight taxi ride through Paris, hopping out wherever the moment moved them. The results are a testament to the beauty and romance of the City of Light:

le louvre at midnight

midnight, le louvre

midnight at notre dame

place de la concorde, midnight

Phyllis you should definitely do this next time you are in Paris, just don’t forget to call us, there are so many places we have yet to photograph.
I love everything about this city, but my favorite part is that no matter what time of the night it is there are tons of lights shining which makes for great night photography couples sessions.

Several years ago I traveled to Paris and I have friend traveling there soon. I remembered a place (I think possibly a government building) where you can arrange to have a large number of lights come on at midnight. I remember thinking that would be a very romantic surprise. However, I don’t know the name of the place or how to make those arrangements. I thought maybe you could help. My friend would like to surprise her partner and, who knows, maybe arrange for a photographer to capture the event!
